Are you interested in becoming a member of the Art & Craft Guild of Lancashire?
The Guild was set up over 25 years ago to support and promote high quality craftsmanship and artistic talent in Lancashire. The Guild is organised on a co-operative basis whereby members have a full say on our activities and are expected to help to run the guild.
There are many benefits including the opportunity to showcase and sell your work in one of our exhibitions held throughout Lancashire, also in our member run shop Lancashire Makers.
Each member has a dedicated page with their profile, contact details and images on the Guild website. As well as our website we print a full colour brochure with each member having their details plus an image of their work listed. There is a full list of our exhibitions and a page featuring Lancashire Makers. We distribute the brochures over a large area of Lancashire, targeting venues where our potential customers can obtain a copy.
To apply please fill in the on line form below and please include several images to show off your work (If you’d prefer to send images via email please send them to; [email protected]). Our membership committee will review your application and make a decision regarding inviting you for an informal interview. You will be required to bring current samples of your work for the panel to view.
If you are successful at the interview you will be offered Exhibiting Membership for one year and will join a committee. You will be expected to attend some meetings during the year and actively participate in the running of the Guild. After the first year, your application will be reviewed, and if the review is successful you will be granted Full Membership.
The subscription is £48 per year, with an optional advert levy of £10. The levy would not apply until publication of a new brochure.
If you are interested in applying for membership please complete the on line form.
