A jeweller and silversmith for over 30 years, I work from my own
studio creating commissioned pieces in silver, gold, platinum and
palladium. I am also a qualified gemmologist and diamond grader
and specialise in making stone set jewellery, particularly with
opals that I carve myself.
Past commissions have been very diverse, from tiaras and diamond
studded suspender belts, to silver walking stick handles and church
wafer trays. Your own jewellery can be melted down and re-designed
to create new pieces.
On my web-site are five of my collections of designer jewellery
in silver and gold, and an “events” page listing the
fairs and exhibitions in the forthcoming year.
A recent venture is that I have begun one-to-one jewellery
courses at my studio. The courses are suitable for complete
beginners, and also graduate students who wish to learn further
skills. There are two workbenches so there is room for couples who
wish to make each others wedding rings.
