   Sally Anne Lambert






Sally Anne Lambert is a children’s book illustrator and watercolour artist living in Crosby, Merseyside.

She studied for her BA honours in Graphic Design at Coventry Polytechnic, and was commissioned to illustrate her first book The Gingerbread Man by David Wood OBE, during her final show.

Sally has continued to illustrate both for UK and American publishers. Recent titles include The Baddie’s Goodies by Angela McAlistair in 2003- which was commissioned by Bloomsbury Books especially for her to illustrate; and The Story of the Easter Bunny by Katherine Tegen, published by Harper Collins in the USA – reaching number 3 in the New York Times best selling children’s book list in 2004.

Sally has held several exhibitions of her watercolours. Venues include The Lake District Summer Music Festival in Ambleside 1993 and The Theatre in the Forest in Grizedale, Cumbria 1994 and, more recently, at the Finestra Gallery, Kirby Lonsdale in celebration of the ‘March Hare’. Sally also exhibits as a member of the ‘Art and Craft Guild of West Lancashire’.

Sally has recently started taking commissions for Pet Portraits and Babies Christening Pictures, and is always happy to discuss commissions both large and small!
