My introduction to working with glass was in 2002 when I took
a course in stained glass which I loved so much I decided to continue
with glass studies and gained a qualification in Design and Craft
3D studies.
I bought a kiln and began selling my decorative, fused and wearable
glass designs through a number of local craft outlets. Out of curiosity,
I decided to take a lesson in Lampwork bead making and was totally
smitten. Working with glass in the flame is a mesmerising and thrilling
occupation which I never tire of.
I also create silver, copper and anodised aluminium findings to
use with my lampwork beads when creating my jewellery collections
and often also include macramé, viking knit and chain maille.
My work is available at many craft fairs throughout the year and
I also enjoy doing commission work.
I am self representing glass artist SRA#C70 and also a member
of GBUK.
