I worked as an electrician before going back to college to study for a B.ed Hons degree in Craft and Design. I taught Design for 25 years and then started my business; 'furniture design workshop' based in Bickerstaffe.

I design and make handmade furniture to commission as well as some speculative pieces for sale. My work combines traditional skills with contemporary design and sustainable materials. All of my commissions are individually designed to satisfy the functional and aesthetic requirements of my clients. Visitors are always welcome at my workshop in Bickerstaffe.
